Digimon World or Cyber Sleuth
The whole digimon world is fun (not so much the whole pooping), but i miss some some cybersleuth digimon, also cyber sleuth was from story more fun.

Training them is fun...bot i just can´t get it into my mind....that i speal with a 2 meter or 6 meter tall digimin with ingelligence about: YO, go ♥♥♥♥! or here something to eat.

At this point i see digimon as neanderthals who don´t know how to ♥♥♥♥ or eat.
Remember these digimons interlligence stacks and grows with their evolution.

SO WHY THE MUST I TELL MY CHAMPION/ULTERA/MEGA Digimon too go poop

You are literally complaining about mechanics that have been in the franchise from the start.

Tbh, you didn't tell you Digimon to go poop though. Digital World are dangerous for human alone, thats why your partner need to stay with you everytime. They are waiting until you go close enough to a toilet for them to poop. They cannot just go to the toilet and leaving you in the wild alone. Thats why if you didn't go to toilet until they cannot hold it anymore, they will just poop in there.

You can tell when people have no idea of the origins of Digimon. Sorry to ruin it for you but they've been pooping since the 90s since their first boom in popularity was through the Tamagotchi like devices.

Not just the first popularity boom, that is literally their origin. They sprung into existence as a Tamagotchi alternative for boys, then came the first Digimon World as a Tamagotchi style rpg, and then came the first anime.

Just because it's always been a mechanic, doesn't make it a good mechanic.

I'm new to playing any digimon game, and it does feel very out of place. If this was a game centered around caring for and raising the monsters (tamagotchi style), that would be fine. But this is a role playing adventure game, and it's not the 90's anymore.

There might be a sense of nostalgia from the digimon-for-life crowd, or some enjoyment from literal bathroom humor. But it doesn't add anything to the game. No one (almost no one) is seeking out digimon games for this mechanic, and a lot of people are turned away by including it.

That's exactly what it is though... It's that with an adventure slapped on.
Isn´t a vpet an rpg, leveling up, whole character index. At this point you could go also all way: Raising children is an RPG, leveling them up, make them stronger harder more clever.

There's three entire lines of digimon that are poop-oriented (numemon, sukamin, nanimon/etemon). An entire post-game questline is also centered around those digimon and toilets. It's just part of the brand and franchise.

I've personally always enjoyed the Digimon Story games over the Digimon World games.
To be honest, if this game wasn't Digimon themed, I don't think I'd enjoy it.

Which is weird, because I'd love a Digimon tamagotchi.
Maybe it's just the mix of gameplay and monster breeding elements combined that I am not too fond of.

That's probably just a symptom of the Digimon franchise trying out different things though.
In one game, Digimon can be humane creatures that can fall in love with humans, marry them, and start a family with them.
Then in the next game, they can be pets.

As a newcomer to the world series it's def a love it or hate it
I personally feel both, when you have your powerful mons and you just go around recruiting and exploring and doing stuff in the city it's peak comfy and everything i'd want out of a digimon game and if there was no real combat and it was animal crossing esque casual i'd love it more
but when your mon dies and it's back to grinding again to get them to good enough strength it makes me remember why i was always put off from trying these games and as much as i enjoy it i do think this will prob be my one and only experience with them

however i do encourage any digimon fans to try it out for themselves so they can get a good idea and feel for the very roots of the franchise and arguably what it's all about

Both different game, it's like comparing Final fantasy series with Final Fantasy Tactics, or Gears of war with Gears Tactics

Both different genre
