Playable on Windows 7?
Has anyone tested to see if it runs on windows 7 and they're just required to put windows 10 as the minimum? I know some games do that and they work completely fine on 7

Well since Windows 7 is no longer supported in general then I highly doubt it

The game runs on a Unity version from 2019, so I don't really see a particular reason why it wouldn't run on W7.

But that doesn't have to mean anything and it certainly won't be supported.

I suggest biting the bullet and downgrading to W10. It should still be possible to upgrade your W7 license to W10.

I thats what I figured since its just an older game ported with not much added. Not really interested in upgrading conisidering this was a surprise release to me and this is the "newest" game I've had any interest in playing in the past 10 years. I can certeinly live without it as long as I've still got my tried and true version of windows. Just wanted to know if anyone tested before I bother buying really.

Not having a go but why on Earth are you still using that old outdated OS in 2023?

It may work great for now but without security updates I don’t want to hear you complaining that you got hacked

Still works amazingly for the things I use it for and I'm not worried about future releases and I haven't had any issues with security. I'm not gonna fall for the fear mongering its a complete myth that you can't be safe without security updates. If you're stupid yeah you're screwed but if you know what you're doing its not likely you'll get hacked.

Not a myth. Without security updates, you’re less and less safe from criminals. The bugs will get worse and eventually it will just be way too easy to break in. There is a great reason why security updates are the most common update on computers. Don’t be foolish and think your immune cos you know how to avoid. The security is what keeps you from those so without the security, you’re screwed

It's a fact that staying on end-of-life OS' (and/or neglecting updates) is essentially an invitation for cyber-attacks and other technical issues.

"but cyber-criminals focus on the new stuff" - well they sure are trying to find weaknesses there, but old OS that don't get updates anymore are basically solved and wide open.

Common sense. Think like a criminal and you will realise that they seek the weaker security. An OS that is no longer supported is a gold mine of easy access

Myth? kindly explain then why so many businesses still using outdated OS get compromised then? it's not a myth there is no fear mongering it is real but I mean if you want to leave yourself vulnerable online, potentially wide open even it's your choice but you're delusional if you think this is a myth.

Lol can't get through to people like this so I'm not going to waste my time but it will be the Criminals who have the last laugh at some point.. May as well have a big neon sign that says HEY GUYS I'M RIGHT HERE MAKE YOURSELVES AT HOME.
