how can i change language

i only see a option for changue the voices but not the text

Digimon World: Next Order on steam can only be purchased outside of Japan. Hence why there is only English text, with English and Japanese voices. The Japanese text is unique to the original physical edition sold in Japan, I believe.

Right click the game on your steam library, go to properties, then you'll find language option somewhere

That’s usually not how changing in game text works

Well it takes your default system language isn't it?
If It's not well set you can change language as @Billon said.
That isn't the first game AT ALL that needs you to do this to change language btw.

Not from my experience with gaming. Normally the game itself has the languages built into it so if it doesn’t have other text besides what it already has then you may have to look for a different region copy

In "Digimon World Next Order\Digimon World Next Order_Data\Plugins\x86_64" should be the ini file or txt (Don't remember) file where you can change the text language

Access the game folder (\Plugins\x86_64\steam_settings) and open the file "supported_languages.txt" and delete all languages and leave only the one of interest. Save the file and enjoy.
