to fix this go to settings on ds4 and check on the hide ds4 controller done
So, it's not an Xinput issue.
There's likely your problem.
Playstation controllers often don't play nice with most PC games.
Dualshock uses the generic DirectInput drivers, while most PC games with controller support use Xinput (which Xbox controllers use).
In Steam you have to hide your generic controller to just show the ps4 one and the game will use the default configs.
I have the same issue with a series x controller
I was doing some research and I find solution
just downloas antimicro, this program recognize all ximput
https://github.com/AntiMicro/antimicro/releases
The only thing that you have to do is mapping the crontroll keys with the keyboard keys that the game use
Glad to see this thread popping up, I'm guessing DS4/e doesn't have correct prompts as well in-game. Staying far away from this release.
