No hard mode?

Just beginner, easy and normal? Very strange difficulty options unless hard is unlocked later somehow?

Doing easy anyway because of what ive read on how unbalanced the game is for difficulty just making training grinding longer and not changing the game in any way.

Sad they didn't even bother fixing the difficulties for this rerelease. Kinda pointless spending 50 hours mindlessly grinding the same mob instead of 5 hours on higher difficulties.

Normal difficulty is definitely a challenge

Putting a hard level in this game would make it almost impossible or a grinding of apocalyptic levels, normally a numemon can kill you a champion or ultimate easily. on hard the numemon would conquer the world

bro wait til you get to chapter 2 and have to get through like 5 areas with always level increseing digimon you will get your ass handed to you

I would recommend to play on easy, all it dors is give more stats per battle which will reduce alot of grind. It does not change anything else like enemy stats

You save yourself hours of mindless battle grinds till mid to late game

yea normal mode is hard. Beginner made it more easier to enjoy the game

since no one else mentioned, a hard mode unlocks after the final boss

Don't bother, the only thing difficulty does in this game is reduce the stat gains from training. It's literally to make you take longer, it's not actually "hard".
Also due to a misnaming. Normal is Hard here and Easy is Normal.

Yeah a surprising amount of "Normal is hard don't bother" but very little mention of the actual hard mode. But I suppose most people just get side tracked raising and never finish the game?
