So this has like 100 less digimon than cyber sleuth?
The advertisement says it has "over 200 digimon". But Cyber sleuth has around 341 mons. I was hoping they would actually give the game more content with this re-release.

I think the reason Next Order has less Digimon is because of how the game works, they need to put more work into each Digimon compared to Cyber Sleuth. Not to mention having to find a bunch of new town roles if they added more Digimon, since most of them can be recruited.

I also wish they added more content, but if this port does well enough, we might get another Digimon World game... hopefully.

I could understand that if it weren’t for the fact they are charging 60 dollars for merely re-releasing an old game. Without extra digimon, this game should be around 40 dollars

This game has a more depth in evolution than Cyber Sleuth, Cyber Sleuth you can have 20+ digimon, can revert a digivolution and go for another path and do other things, this game is more about raising slowly your 2 partner!
Like in Re:digitize Decode, in my 40+hours of gameplay I only had 5 digimon, and some died with only 14days

I just wish they at least re balance the game since training is complete useless and inefficient.

I feel like saying quality over quantity on this one. I like Cyber Sleuth and Digimon World but have to say Digimon World feels like a better game because it makes me feel more attached to the digimon while with Cyber/Hackers games I feel like I'm mostly grinding to get specific Digimon and less of an attachment.

When a Digimon dies in World it feels more like a proper bond and looking forward to replaying this on Steam Deck because portable Digimon World will feel like the best experience for me.

Plus if you're that concerned about money then wait till Steam sales.

Also if the game get's better sales then it might mean more Digimon coming to Digimon World sequels.

Yeah, I do agree on that point. I really wish they would stop charging full price for ports of games from years ago... but at this point, I'm just happy it's coming to PC at all.

Takes you longer to actually obtain each digimon, that's why there are less. Having 100 more digimon would just be overkill.
