An improvement in (most) Ways over the Original from 1999.

-More Digimon to recruit
-more digivolutions
-improvements to Training
-increase the Life of Digimon
-Monochromon Minigame is gone
-in generell Quality of life improvements (getting the Digimon you want is WAY less of a Pain)
-things are explained wheres the Original left you with nothing (how to take care for your Digimon)
-more to explore
-nice graphics (i guess)

-no fun Minigames...... (like curling...)

game is good, i love digimon games :)

i recommend installing mods for it though if you don't want to have to deal with the unnecessary padding of your digimons constantly dying and you having to spend multiple in game days just to train them back up to mega

i recommend these mods:
- dwno helper (so you know when your digimon will die)
- battle stats multiplier (to multiply battle stat gain and training stat gain)

these 2 are the best for speeding up your playthrough. i've already finished the game on ps4 a few years ago and only just recently decided to finish it on pc as well :)
