First of all, I thought the game was pretty cool. :) One thing that confused be a bit was why the jump / attacks where assigned to the triggers instead of the face buttons on the controller? Can we re-map this?

Yes before you tell me, I know these games are not supposed to have deep stories but I was actually interested by the setup and the mystery. Who is the player character? Why exactly is she after the ship and the bosses? There is obviously a history between them so I was quite excited to find out more. Will I have to quit work and showering so as to have enough time to practice getting past level 1?

Well, first of all, the game is pretty fun, but i ran into an issue that I can't quite get around. I'm trying to complete all achievements and only 1 is left. I have to get S rank on all stages but there are 2 stages that the game shows me an S rank on mission completion menu, but it shows A rank on the mission select menu. and the achievement doesn't pop.
