Why was this game pulled?

Anyone know why this game was pulled from the steam store? I've been searching around but can't really find an answer :(

My guess is the game didn't do well at all in sales and ubisoft wasn't making barely any profit at all and the very few sales that were made had to be divided with valve as well so they pulled it of steam so your forced to but the game directly from them or the dvd off amazon. Also this game apparently was badly ported and had many problems so that's another reason why they may of pulled it.

Thanks for the answer :) I only ever played this game on the Xbox and have been rewatching lost and wanted to replay this game too. I'll just buy the DVD from amazon.

The game did......okay in sales, from what I understand. Not well enough that a sequel was a no-brainer, but it was considered.

It's off Steam due to either licensing expiration or the great profit margins gained by selling it elsewhere like he said.
