Upgrade weapons?!

Hey, which weapons you can upgrade? I have the Dagger "Inquisition Cinqueda" and I cant upgrade it... Not rare enough?!
I really love the frenz attack...

Maybe I cant upgrade stolen weapons?! Idk...^^

The only weapon that can be upgraded are the legendary ones afaik

All upgradeable weapons will have : "Upgradeable" in its description. Lund's (Champion of the first region called Tiltren) is one example of a weapon which can be upgradeable. In its description will say so.

Purple weapons can be upgradeable, but many yellow as well. Specially ones which you can obtain defeating different enemies than normal. Upgrading It will increase It's level, which means giving a better attribute.

Sort of! You'll have to fight the enemies that tend to carry that type of weapon (via roaming world, bounties, guards, etc). If you're lucky, you'll get a higher level one. You can use the Banner resolution that gives more loot, Respect for the Enemy, to increase your chances. You might also find one on the traveling merchants. It might be a lot of work just to get one more weapon level though.

There also seems to be rare yellows you can upgrade cause I have a "Rogue" 2h hammer that says upgradeable too

Yep yep, those ones come from the weekly bounties that used to be in game and were put back in not long ago. The icon around the bounty picture will be gold and there'll be an interaction when you attack the group.

Just to be clear, this is what you need to look for:

At the bottom it will show <Weapon Type> - Upgradable

To actually upgrade it, you have to have a character that can use the weapon of a higher level. So if you currently don't have someone who uses spears for example, and you find an upgradable spear, you won't be allowed to upgrade it.

Weekly bounties are back! I found 2 today, got a 1h sword and a 1h mace. It's still Wednesdays when they come out- look for a yellow border around the "mug shot" of the leader. And it's not just up-gradable weps, these jobs pay more than usual as well!

Basically, the upgradable weapons are unique, so you cannot just go and loot/buy a higher level one later, thus upgrading is required to keep relevant.
