- Carriage Pony/ Warhorse can be tanky in battle after it got enough constitution and a good armor crafted for it (can wear one at level 5). It can be regularly recruited from stables or get won by winning the rouste or by finishing the black steed quest in Arthes.
We cet also one in the beginning of the game already.
- Crogswine is like a dominant sow but has partially different active skills and adds bleeding when it hits a enemy, you can catch it with ropes.
- Mosquito, has nice passives and his attack sucks blood from the enemy stacking and healing itself. During rests it can sting one of the companions "secretly" at need and not need to consume food because of that. You need a flask with a potion (dont remember the name right now sorry) that captures it on hit instead of killing it while it has low health.
If the flask hits several ones with low health all together will be captured.
- Black alpha wolf and white/polar wolf are to be found in the new region of alazar.
Can't tell if they have different skills then their "cousins" from other areas cause I didn't captured one yet.
- Polar Bears can be found in the new region and have almost double the stats the brown bears have while looking the same skillwise as far as I can tell. Didn't captured one either yet.
- Ghost Boar/Ghost Wolf can be captured with the ghost chains that will be available in the alazar region (only had one on my side during the quest in ludern prior to the release in which we were provided with some chains but lost everything after the quest was done)
You can gain a achievement by having one boar, one wolf, one bear and one crogswine in your party at the same time.
You will also gain a achievement for capturing a mosquito.
I had asked/suggested to add the pets that were added in the release months ago and I'm happy they did at least that cause I had also suggested other animals that weren't considered yet.
Also suggested skills for the creeper and either another one that looks differently or at least a reskin with a black one with different skills to the one we have now.
Happy to see another gamer that loves the animals and their possibilities in the game! :)
I am looking forward for moswuitos, been playin for the last 70 hours i think.
Also, i am pretty sure the bear skill to get fish is not correct... OR the skill for cheese is not correct, cheese procs way too much and fish barely procs.
By far, the strongest build in the game is 8 Bears + 8 Beast Master + 4 Dudes for buffs and such.
8 Beast Master = 40% HP Regen per Turn. Add Infused Collar and that's 50% HP Regen per Turn. At level 8 the Bears have over 800 HP and you can focus fully on Movement Speed. They basically can't die, at all.
Beast Master ATTACK! command gives Fury and orders every animal around the target to attack in (Opportunity), as long as they are not engage with other enemies.
Surround a Boss with 5 Bears, spam ATTACK! and watch as you 1 Turn the boss.
There's also a Unique bow that will allow your Auto to make the animals around that unit to attack as well. Equip yourself with the +10% Precision and you will pretty much never hit your bears.
The trick is just to not feed them, lol.
Starting with the -10% Fatigue Perk, then eating the -35% Fatigue Food and using the -15% Fatigue Banner Buff, you can last a very long time without feeding anyone.
Also, as long as Happiness is above a certain amount, you will be good, so Alcohol + Campfire can seriously mitigate any kind of happiness loss. You won't be able to maintain 15 cap, since the Happiness loss happens AFTER the happiness gain is calculated, but you should still be fine.
