Does anyone else get Witcher vibes from the music?

I really like it. reminds me of Witcher... But it also reminds me that I haven't completed Witcher 3 and that Witcher 2 somehow runs worse then Witcher 3

I dig the music. But it's more than just like Witcher. It's like a lot of fantasy games trying to drop you into their moment and their experience.

If the game is going for gritty realism and not magical escapism (WarTales clearly the former), it's not like we're going to get electric guitars and synths and what not. The canvas of musical options -- especially away from a major city or court of a large monarch -- is pretty limited.

But yeah, I dig it.

I just watched a friend play this game and the Tiltren County background music instantly reminded me of The Witcher 3's Kaer Morhen theme. I dare say it seems more than slightly inspired by that song - here's a direct comparison:

a buddy and i just started a playthrough together, and this is pretty much the first thing i said after we loaded in lol
