How many times Recklessness skill work in battle?

Is it works only once untill I kill all enemies or once at each combat with enemy soldier?

Once a Battle, and it used to be 300% now mastery is 150%.

Why is it once a battle, cause Battles don't last longer then 1 or 2 turns, max 3.

I still don't understand what is "battle" :D End of battle - all enemies are dead or end of battle - one enemy dead
