Assign a Companion in Co-Op

Maybe I'm only a newbie but still can't understand how menage to assign a companon to a player in co-op mode :(

That assignment menu is when you start a new co-op, so maybe save and reload to try to get that screen? I never really played co-op to know for sure.

When i load a CO-Op game starts without any assignment menu like in the start of the game :(

Yeah I tried to start a co-op game without inviting a player, it doesn't let you... This means once you assign a player, it's permanently locked in for the rest of the campaign, you cannot invite another player to replace the person if you wanna continue a game.

in the persons char sheet on the bottom right there is a gear icon. that will let you give companions to other players.
