How do you get some of you mercs the First Aid skill?
The only one I've got that has it is my tank and he takes all the damage and can't heal himself :steamsad:

There are skill schools where you can buy books to unlock more skills on your mercs.

The look like small castles and have the options to buy skill books as well as upgrading gold and purple weapons against money.

Ah, I remember now. Is there a skill school in Tiltren?

Yeah, I quite like to make it to level 4, that's why I want somebody else with a heal like now.

You can by the basic skill books straight away, you only have to wait for level for to get enhanced skill manuals

You can also steal the skill books- use them immediately and you have no stolen goods for the guards to ding you for. Then you only have to pay the fine for the theft, which is cheaper than the purchase price. Also builds path points for crime/chaos.

This one is pretty obscure, but in Vertruse Province, you can also obtain the skill book in a secret location accessible through a piton.

But if you're in the early game, you're not there yet. The only other way is to just buy or steal the First Aid skill book from the Brotherhood training grounds- there's one in every region. Since it costs 300 Krowns, you probably have to steal it, if you want it early. You will gain Suspicion and may even become Wanted but if you have not committed any other crimes and have already used the book (i.e. it no longer appears in your inventory), the Guard will let you off with a fine of 60 to 80 Krowns, which you can consider a discount (at least that it is how it was before 1.0 release. Not sure if that's changed).

Alternatively, if you become Wanted, you can simply evade the Guard until Suspicion drops sufficiently to lose that status but this may be quite tedious.
