Are there any time limits or time constraints?
So, I like the game but it does have the bad habit of hiding critical information from the player. I have a few questions about how time is handled:

- Is there a time limit to missions and quests? Will I fail any if I take too long?
- Will the world change on its own as time advances (like in Battle brothers and XCOM where enemy factions get stronger as time goes on)
- Are there scripted events that happen after a certain amount of time has elapsed (like the endgame crisis in Battle brothers)

There is no such mechanics, time in game only for day/night in some evens, like ghostly animals and few quests. You can take all available quest and come to them after some game month and find your target in the same place waiting for you.
Depending on your dificulty choice this enemy group will or willnot evolve in lvl and some skills.

Some Contracts Time out if you do not take them, The board updates. I had a Trade mission for pelts on the board and no pelts so I did not take it, went and got the pelts came back and the Mission was Gone.. No other Time limits I noted...

There might be some "timed" quests. But the only examples I can think of are like at the "wealthy farm" or the logging camp for the refugees. Where at a set point in both quests a party will pop out of the areas and go into combat with another group. Giving you the option to choose between either to side with. Not sure what happens if you just leave them alone after that happens though. An alternate neutral ♥♥♥♥♥♥ reward choice perhaps?

They will fight forever until you decide to end it. :) At least i once left, because the foe was all "red" ... so did go somewhere else, returned some weeks later when they where "green" and still fighting.

I forgot the Tree in Ludern, I did not run off and save him like I did in another play through and by the time I got to the tree in this game he was dead...

Yeah right, i guess when you once "start" it and go away, he will be dead later. I remember being confused, because that never happend before. The game still has a way to suprise you, even when your playtime is over 200 hours.
