Ludern piton shortcut patched out?

Picked the game back up after a month-ish of break and my piton to Ludern above the bandit border crossing is now useless, it was "pulled up" back to the top of the mountain and there's no suitable place to put another one down, making this shortcut impossible. Anyone else has this problem?
