Barber Kit Rework?
I realize this is more on the aesthetic/player customization side of gameplay suggestions, but would it be possible to let the barber kit change faces as well? I come across a tavern with a good trait combination on a recruit only for them to have the same face as 3 of my other troop members. In spite of the immersion breaking it'd be a neat option imo!

Yeah, it's annoying and needless realism that you can only change hair. It should come with full customization.

I fully support this. I would like to change faces, skin tone and even gender. It is very difficult to find a mercenary in the tavern who would have two positive traits you need and at the same time look like you imagined him.
In fact, it would be nice to be able to create mercenaries like at the start of the game for a very high price.
Last time I went to the barber, the only thing he was able to change was my hair. I wish he could change the nose a bit but he's only licensed to cut hair. I do play Wartales multiplayer with him, though.

I agree on being able to change face, skin color, etc.

Just recently there was a short lived bug where the appearance of your 4th starting character wasn't getting saved and you got stuck with a random appearance. Many players (including me) were quite annoyed by this but fortunately they quickly patched it.

However, regarding the ability to create mercenaries, isn't that essentially what the Human Resources knowledge lets you do? Sure right now you can't select face/appearance. And you can only choose one positive trait (and exclude another). Then again, Human Resources lets you select the personality, which is something that you can't select at the start. So if you really have that many krowns to spend, you can put in a highly specific posting with HR....

I figured Shiro Games had the intention of leaving the option of choosing a gender for a recruit with the vacancy notices, but it would make it moot if the barber kit also lets you change genders as well. Unless they incentivize players with another reason to still choose that knowledge perk.

Yeah whenever I play xcom like games like these, I'm the type of player that changes up the units to my friends. So it would be nice to have that customization option!

Yes, that's right. There is such a possibility in the game. But you still need to roll the second positive trait and appearance. As a result, random mercenaries in the tavern are sometimes even stronger than those that can be hired using this function. It is essentially useless and expensive.

how about fully customization appearance via clinic ? I think this QOL thing will improve the game much more, add it as a dlc. Im ready to pay
another thing I would like to see is the traits. gaining trait is so random, how about add a book shop where I can buy book to learn the traits for my new recruit such as strong, thick-skinned...ect/

An option would be to provide a "disguise" kit. Something the thief could use to change a party members appearance which would also lower suspicion by a bit. it would have to be time or use gated so you couldn't spam it like toothpaste when recruiting prisoners.
