Can't load a single player game in multiplayer

Load is grayed out, anyone know how to fix that or bypass?

As far as i know the game was not designed to do this. Multiplayer and single player are too separate things. You play one or the other but you can't bring them together. Hope this helps and Happy New Year

It was supposed to be fixed/changed earlier this year with drop in/drop out coop but it seems like that has been more difficult to implement fully than the devs anticipated. Atm I just wish I could consistently load my coop save games but sometimes they turn into single player ones but still have my partners in the slots in the game but unable to join. It's quite a mess but still a great game

Shadow, I just had that happen to me. A COOP game just started saving as single player and now the other players can't join. There are 249 comments re this problem on the bug report page. Do we think this is being worked?

Thanks for the information ShadowFox. I was not aware you meant Co-op games. Yea that is a big issue. I hope they figure out a way to make it work properly and your patient level headed approach is rewarded

I sure hope so, it seems they are aware of it and have made some progress on people being able to recover save files. I haven't been in their discord but I might have to if I want to get more direct information. Great game for sure though :)
