Oy. I doubt I'll be doing any perfect hits as I'm not even sure what counts as a perfect hit. I'm assuming you have to be hitting just as the sparkle appears, but I'm typically hitting as soon as I see the sparkle. It still tells me it's superior quality, though.
Once you're working on lv12+ equipment you can start to bother with it.
When you hit the metal plates and they stay incandescent orange then you did a perfect hit
