Sieges and hostages in the Skelmar DLC ...
A question about the Skelmar invasion DLC :

After finishing the scenario (and one of the endings) of this DLC, were you able to continue to make sieges and free hostages (in missions for example) ?

Because if I take the Pirates of Belerion DLC as an example, after the end of the scenario, you can still make boardings. In the Skelmar DLC, I can no longer make sieges or free hostages (without restarting the scenario, of course).

But I may have missed something ...

No the map changes, no more roaming skelmar, no more prisoners to free and no more sieges. But you need to finish if you want trade post/route, the arena crossbow & class, oil recipes.

Thank you for your always precise and enlightened answers.

I finished the scenario and I have the commercial post, and everything else. But I had a doubt about the seats and the hostages (a bad doubt) which is confirmed, unfortunately.
Would've been fun if they kept the free prisoner missions "Stop the Vikings from taking slaves back to their homeland" sort of quests. But they didn't :/

The only advantage that we keep is a series of combat options that come out of context during "normal" battles.

In fact, once the scenario is over, we no longer have access to sieges ... or hostage releases ... it must be known !!!

It would have been simple to place a ruined castle on the map that could have been occasionally occupied by bandits or Skelmar deserters to create siege missions in the tavern. The hostage option could also have been transformed into a new mission in the tavern (freeing prisoners from bandits). It seems so logical, but no, none of that ...

I remain on the fact that in the Pirate of Belerion DLC, the new boarding option remains after the resolution of the scenario.

In the Skelmar invasion DLC, none of that ...
