So how do you use Drinking Buddies?

I cannot figure out how to?

Open the unit list (top left), open a member's inventory screen, bottom left open the relationships screen, and if they have someone in the list of friends who has a negative trait you'll see a beer icon. Click that icon and if "you" also have a negative trait you'll get the option to spend 300 Krowns to drink it away. otherwise you'll be told you haven't got a negative trait.

You also need to have 2 Beers in your inventory which are consumed (other alcohol is not usable. It HAS to be Beer).

Two of your companions need to have "Adore +3" relationship level. They both need to have a negative trait. Then in the Relationship tab, you should see an icon of a beer on their portrait and you should have a possibility to click the beer icon to spend 300 influence points and 2 alcohol (Im not sure if only beer or any alcohol) to successfully remove the negative traits.

I dont know if all negative traits are removable. Recently I managed to remove Haemophiliac and Lazy.

Correction. It doesn't have to be Beer. The icon makes it look like Beer but other alcohol (such as Gin or Gosenberg Wine) can also work.
