Hey there Wartales players!

I have tried to get into Wartales multiple times to no avail. I am not super great with turn based games, but I love the setting and open world aspect of this game. It is so complex still and I was thinking about trying again on steam deck.

Anyways, I was wanting to reach out to the community to see what advice you could give to help me get into the game, world, lore etc.

I appreciate your input!

Oh yeah, this is how I got going probably after about 10 false starts.

I just followed this guy and before I knew it I was well versed and rocking. Because this is the problem with Wartales, no real tutorial and so much to learn. So this vid hit the mark for me as it acts like a first time start. Just do what he does.

THANK YOU, I am glad to know I am not the only one that has struggled to get going.

You will probably re-start a few times anyway. Because your not happy with your crew or you missed something etc. But each time just has you liking the game more and more.

Something I missed for quite a while is assigning people to things like your cooking pot and workbench when in camp for the benefits it brings. You have to grab them and drag them to the pot or bench, what ever it is until the interact with it.
