Belerion Achipelago "Treasure Map - I"

I have a treasure map in my inventory that still has a question mark over it, indicating I have not found the treasure yet. The map is called "Treasure Map - I," and since it doesn't have a pirate captain's name in the title, I'm assuming I did not acquire this map from defeating any of the pirate captains. In the picture on the map is shown a puddle of blood on the beach. I found the location on southern end of Sarna Island, but I can't seem to unearth the treasure to check off the treasure hunt on the map. What am I doing wrong? There doesn't seem to be anything I can click here and if I dig around the blood stain all I accomplish is unearthing hordes of 40+ molerats to fight. Anyone know what I'm missing here?

Don't know the name of the Island, but I think the treasure is on the beach next to the rat nest. Sout east of the island with the trackers camp.

Yeah, the rat's nest is on the cliff overlooking the beach where I found the blood stain on the sand. I still can't figure out how to unearth the treasure to open it. There's nothing for me to click on there.

Having the same issue. Treasure Map 1 seems to be bugged or there's something else required to dig it up. According to the map on the picture I'm in the exact right spot, bloodstain on sand and all. Add this in another of the long list of bugs we hope they will fix someday but likely won't anytime soon.

I had the same issue. In my recent game the pirate`s treasures only appeared after i completed all Belerion quests (points of interest).

I guess I got where the glitch is. On Sarna Island there are two like "hands" with beaches.
One is depicted on the map, near the rat's nest.
On the other one, there is clearly an unearthed chest with some premium loot.
Probably devs put the chest on the wrong beach? And therefore not connected it with the map, it doesn't obtain the green sign when you find the treasure.
