A question about faces

Why do you always replace the old faces instead of just adding new ones when you update the game? The replacements don't particularly look better so its hardly an improvement. Used to be only single male face that i liked and now its replaced too. Thanks a lot.

Generally very unhappy with customization. Women all look like rat-human hybrids and almost all men look like elderly alcoholics from eastern europe.

Great game but customization is still miserable af and bare bones after all this time.

Will you be more pleasant to communicate in the camp with elderly alcoholics from Western Europe? It will take a lot of resources for developers to give each player an old alcoholic from the region they like.

Pretty sure they won't burst if they add 3-5 decent looking faces considering they've been wasting "resources" by making unnecessary replacements of the old ones.

This can be easy fixed if devs provide us with modding tools. Or if we find a way to unpack/repack game data files (.pak).

Apply fantasy. You have the opportunity, as an artist, to paint faces in different colors at the Pathfinder camp. If you don't like the face, you can generally paint over half of it in black. Again, a disguise.

Artistic , some people like to play with UGLY faces as stream shows. so ugly cause it draws attention, but majority of the people like Good looking Barbies and Ken ..

That is more cause you have been grown in a time where Beauty and Looks matter.
No matter what people say , cause you been thrown into a media where they only show Nice above Average People. or do they still hire People who look like Lincoln ?

So what you consider ugly , others might consider acceptable, what you consider acceptable others might consider nice.

I haven't checked all the new faces. cause for males most of them get beards to cover up the face.
Only the women faces matter, and they gotten rid of the OLD HAG face with wrinkles.
(It didn't bother me a lot , but I can understand some people have issue with it)

Honestly i only liked 1-2 female faces and a single male face out of all which was the only one that didn't look like it belonged to 50 year old alconoid from Poland and then they replaced it in another community update to some young version of Chicatillo. I dont ask for a metrosexual parade or beauty parlor thots just for some additional faces to have some variety not just lowlife gallore it is now. Maybe some hair too. Bro, i even pay for dlc with that ♥♥♥♥♥. Pretty please, devs?

I mean it may not be significant for the most of you but i like customizing my mercs to my liking. It's fun... usually

Well, the good looking women had other options, so it makes sense that the ugly ones became mercs. For the men, it's a hard life and all that drinking and eating rat meat catches up to you after while.

I agree 100%. I like so much about this game, but coming from Xcom (where the basic customization has a lot of face variation), Wartales falls short. I get that it's extra to add customization, but as saidabove would at least like to keep the old faces as options.

And please. Can we just have set unique faces for the named NPCs in quests? As the game is not a rogue like, and there are limited faces. It's annoying when a quest giver has the same face as your mercs.

Agreed. Just open the GD workshop and let moders handle everything. They will make it a total war like sandbox rpg ! This game could be much better if they change their game designer.

Not sure why but making women faces ugly is a political correct thing for them. Same opinion for only two women faces are acceptable.
