Missing Mutton Stew
I think it's my Karma to kill off this farmer couple's daughter for a fishing bait and I missed one of the most important recipe "Mutton Stew" that later on can give you 20% Strength in late game. You can run a year without rest, so, any effect can be permanent. I haven't find any other way to get it again, just stealing from camps.

It's not from the girl, it's from her mother in the farm. You swap for 10 wood, but I'm not sure if you can get it if you kill the girl.

Normally, I got this stew for 10 woods but for this new save (all men lv8 and gear lv10,11) I forget to buy it from her. After getting her daughter killed, the mother disappear along with the recipe forever! Damn, I have to spend 80 hours again or used the final stew!

I just tried giving them both Mutton Stew(15% Strength), and Culture Shock(20% Strength).

They don't stack, so you only get the 20% from culture shock. Once you get the Brewing Vat, you can make enough Brandy every 2 days with Cherries. The other ingredients shouldn't be a problem.

Did you get the recipe for Porridge?

This guy had Mutton Stew & Culture Shock:

Lol.

My apologies. I was forgetting Culture Shock needs Mutton Stew.

On the bright side - starting over, you do it better next time.

;)

I got porridge recipe in the previous patch game. It's in Venalis Castle, Merchant Viviror

Still missing recipe for:
Suffle Cabbage - 10% crit chance
Trapper Fondue - 10% move on map

All these are important effect that can make up for a Leadership Perk (since the removal of Septelle 100% crit)

I wasn't aware of their existence.

I guess there'll be a recipe for Beer Infused Wolf Ribs too, since I picked the dish up somewhere. Maybe not in the game yet. That gives Crit Damage increase of 20%.

I got Beer Infused Wolf Ribs recipe in New Region Inns.

Now, I found out that Children of the Beast are selling Mutton Stew! Don't need the recipe anymore.

Seeing as I need to camp and eat so infrequently - I might as well give them everything that stacks. If I really need the VP points, then I can just give them what I have loads of, then camp again with all the good stuff.

Not that I need it anymore - not in the first three regions anyway.

I play on hardest and scale game, so every stacked buff count. I'm trying to pitch my lv8 team with lv10-12 enemies and get their weapon. The bigger battle, the more weapons I can salvage afterward.

I'm playing on Hard and Hard Sim too. I've got 5 at Lvl 6, and 10 at Lvl 7. Now I've got the Lvl 11 Weapons(3 of them), they are utterly overpowering. I've not done too much of Harag before though, and none in this game. Got a lot of Lvl 8 stuff now.

I save Legendary weapons for last (may be around lv 12-13). I simply arm my entire Lv8 team with Lv10-12 gears. Keep getting higher lv Bears to keep enemies scale up to the point all crafted armors are useless.

Just a matter of time with Shield Wall. Not even champions can pass it. I can capture 2 bears with Shield Wall, and they are immobilised as long as I have a VP. Let the others do the damage, they are crowd control. They set them up nicely for 2 Handers, especially Lucilla.

Isn't lvl 11 the cap on Legendary weapons? I thought so.

Did Developers said so? I'm on the way to get higher if possible. Not sure what will get after getting a Lv11 bear.
