Meadowsweet or something broke?!?!
I didn't realize that I never beat the Tiltren Rouste (which I HATE HATE HATE by the way) game, so when I did, I chose the horse. But.. I can't can choose what to do with it. So, if that's the case, how I do I get rid of it without battle.

What level are you?
I got the damn thing with a party of level 13 and 15 units, and it's level 15.
It has warpony, but no other skills and despite the apparent highlighted option of also choosing to make it a pack animal, clicking on the option gives no results.
I'm guessing this is the same problem you are having, regardless of what level your troop is, but I would like to know your level, just to see if I can find a cutoff point I can exploit through tavern recruitment to reduce the level at which I get it.

Take this horse to the Brotherhood Training Grounds. Transform it into a working horse. When you need it, transform it back into a combat horse. If it is level 15 and it is a combat horse, then armor and weapon merchants will offer level 14 goods (Adaptive mode)

Did you do this, or are you just assuming it's possible, because it isn't.
Meadowsweet is not available for respec at bortherhood training grounds.
Do you think I'm stupid? I'm asking someone for their level, in order to see what the minimum level I would need to reduce my own level through exploiting recruitment and sponging units into the tavern in order to begin my testing would be and you think I haven't tried respeccing the unit?
Unless you can screenshot Meadowsweet being available for respec at the brotherhood training grounds at a specific level I could bring my party down to, you are a chipmunk chittering pointlessly.

;))) If you tried to change your specialty and it didn't work out, then what do you want to test with this mule?:steammocking:

It was annoying me to no end, so it had an "accident" and died mysteriously... Problem solved.

I'll never know; what exactly did he want from a level 15 pony wearing armor? It would have been funny if he'd used it in combat. That's exactly how I started my first playthrough. :steamhappy:

Horses suck for combat, especially later on... I wanted to re-spec it.

I want to see what the highest level is that I can get it and it still be usable as a pony.
If I have to drop to an average of level 2 for my troop so it has no skills pre unlocked, then I will, but if I can get it at a higher level and have the ability to actually unlock it's skills, either side, I would prefer that, for obvious reasons

No, there is no point in a battle pony. At any level. Even if your squad is level 13, and the pony is level 15, it is still weaker than your fighter. If collars resurrected a dead pony, it could be used as a tank - bait. But the "Untouchability" collar is just an analogue of "Will": it allows you to survive the first death, but if the pony is poisoned, it will still die. If animals at least had the skill of running and advantages in the dark, then it would make sense to play animals. But now this part of the mechanics is dead.

I said I want to know at what level I can get him and give him skills. Learn to read.
If I drop to level 1, or 2, I get him before he gets the battle pony skill, and, since I haven't tested it yet, I'm assuming I'll be able to choose whatever path for him I want, but If I can actually give him skills at a higher level, and not have him stuck with just battle pony, I might do that instead, just for the possible inspiration when I pull my dozens of recruits out of the tavern for sh its and giggles.

The problem is not that I don't know English, the problem is that I don't understand the experience and cognitive abilities of the interlocutor. Isn't it logical to assume that the pony from Tiltern can only be obtained after passing the test on the football field in Greenmire? Why did you, at the beginning of the discussion, start asking questions - "I want to know when I can get it?". Start a new playthrough in Vertruse, hire two more people and win the football in Greenmire. To do this, you do not need to ask other players "I want to know?".:steammocking:

The tavern let's you reduce your average troop level at will. I can reduce the average troop level to 1 by just placing all but one unit in the tavern, recruiting a unit a level lower, placing the max level unit in the tavern and resting to reset troop level to my now level 12 unit, rinse and repeat to level 1, or 2 and recruit a set of level 1 or 2 companions to complete the rouste with an average level of 1 or 2.

I talked about sponging levels through the tavern, which you obviously didn't undertsand and instead of asking me to clarify what I mean you keep chittering around like a rodent.
If you don't understand what I want to test, fine, say so and stop hampering the thread when all I wanted to know, since the beginning was precisely what I asked, notably what level he was when he had the problem so I know where to start for my my level demotion.

Also, you can read the game's credits to give yourself an idea of my game experience.
My question was quite specifically focused on the player's level, not the level at which one would assume they can get the pony and dealt with the problem of not being able to choose the skills of Meadowsweet, regardless of whether or not there is value to a warpony.
As it stands, Meadowsweet is not just a poor choice as a warpony, but a worse choice than any other pony as a warpony, because I cannot give him any other skills, except the warpony he procced at level 3. Any other pony would be better than him and I want to know if I can bypass the issue, and where is the level cutoff to accomplish it, since I can be whatever level I want.

You wrote more words than I did. But at the same time you reproach me for being verbose. So how are things going? Did you find out at what level the problem with the buggy pony arose? You are very effective in getting the information you need. (sarcasm):steammocking:
BedlamBetty Sep 16, 2024 @ 12:03am
I didn't reproach you for saying a lot of words, just for saying pointless words., hence the chittering like a rodent, it's all menaingless drivel.
You can't answer my question and apparently the op doesn't want to.

I am as effective as I attempt to be. He didn't want to type in a digit or two to give me a starting point, so my best choice is to reduce the level of my entire party to 2, which I have no reason to do at the moment while I'm working on something else.

Does it bother you that you're compared to a rodent, chittering away nonsense that doesn't help at all?
