Hobnailed Treads?
I can make these now, but I can't see as they actually DO anything? They are supposed to enable "trample" to be used twice... who has trample?

yeah, tested in combat... no "trample" skill shows up. bugged?

Trample only knocks off bad guys hanging off the side of a ship. Pretty rare to have two close enough together to use it.
I find it useful to leave them there- enemy has to waste movement and an action to rescue him.

ah. thanks. it was not at all obvious from the description.
I thought it was supposed to be some kind of through-enemy damage, like damage one guy, and part of the damage hits the guy behind him.
