Lack of mod support?

As the title said. It is said to see there is no mod support from devs and on top of that with each update, almost all mods got broken. modders just leave the game after they have to do all the work again with each patch. wartales is such a good game to shape for anyones liking. I am checking every roadmap to get dissapointed for not having workshop.

if your standards for a good game are that you need it to have workshop, then you really need to reevaluate your priorities.

Yes I could not wrote "wartale mods" in google by myself...
Almost none of them works because they get broken with every patch just as I said...

I would play this game again if I could use a mod to remove the romance. I want to play a tactical turn based combat game, not a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dating sim.

I too didnt like this but i found a way to alleviate it by keeping the mercs i want to be couple, side by side in camp every rest and use food that speed up relationships . Dont let romance ruin your game. Before you know it you will have the couples you prefer. At one time i had a woman with no other merc available and she said that now that she is stronger she will not have a problem to find a husband!!!

What romance? If you are talking about the gimmick where people marry, they just bring it up once and that's it. People in scenarios like that would hook up, maybe not with animals but definitely with each other. It's like moaning that they have to eat/rest etc, and it couldn't be further from a "dating sim", same as it's not a "cooking sim" or a "camping sim". It's much more annoying you get them whining about fighting rats constantly, ordering you to take prisoners, moaning about getting injured and needing a healing potion when they have no injury, yapping about how they have to do all the killing when they downed a bunch of enemies, demanding more cash, etc - because those things happen a lot more often. IN my game the captain is particularly whiny making me wish I'd picked someone else. No wonder the lieutenant I was trying to get to marry her picked the cook instead.

Also, if you don't want them shacking up with specific characters, just don't put them next to one another in camp.

There are no games that do not break mods with updates so I guess you never modded a game before.

Basically because all the data is in the one file in order to use older mods you basically have to go back to when the game worked with the mod- without the most recent bug fixes.
I just override the game files before i load up and play the mod that way and everytime there is a major update i'll have to spend half a day editing the changes back into the file and reimport it.

It seems clear that these minigame addons take priority when what people would really love is a more expansive world with more areas to explore, though the major complaint of the maps has been fixed it took two DLC's until it was done very cheeky.

Na i get Marcus point of view it should be a toggle option i don't need popups to pair my characters, certainly doesn't fit all themes if you are starting with a quad of sisters, then they all wanna engage in incest.. lol
