I cooked the pig

Hi guys,
I unfortunately cooked the tavern pig before I realized that there is an achievement regarding the 3 pets... I suppose there is no second chance to hire the pig is there?

You are correct: there is no second chance, but at least you got some bacon ...In your next run, Don't cook the pig! (teasing).
In my first tavern, I got rid of the chicken and the pig, but I wasn't smart enough to cook them. Kept the cat, but there aren't any recipes for cat in the game anyway...
