Any good reason to explore cursed villages?
I just can't stand the those battles and wonder if there is actualy anything worth getting in there, like legendary weapons and armor, crafting recipes, codexes or any other stuff that can't be obtained anywhere else?

As far as I remember, there is a vial you can use to tame a cardinal mosquito in one of them, can't really remember what else.

Should be noted, those battles can be done fairly easily. Before you go in, take off all your armor and weapons of the mercs you are taking in. When you get that final battle "Attack!" pop up screen, put your armor, and weapons back on while the screen is still up, and you can rip through it easily.

Yeah this will help, thanks. I also found that I can do exploring with minimal number of party members and when noise get where they will attack soon add my whole squad with manage button in village screen.

You can reduce the minimum required further by changing professions to scholar and angler.
If you need a strength check just change back to blacksmith, or thief if you need to open something, then change back to scholar/fisher.

They have items that are needed.

Yes, there are some useful items in those villages, and you can't complete the region without them, which means you might miss out on something else

The best solution for them that I've found is upgraded swordsmen with buffs or people with poison mitigation belts.

I'll need to check the haunted villages in Ludren again. I think I missed those two.

Now I have an extra recipe for the Kings feast and finally found the recipe for the last shield.

Thanks.
