The Drombach region needs to be rebalanced
I'm playing the Game Pass version and loving it so far. The last region, the Drombach region, needs to be adjusted downwards. All the other regions I've been able to do well in. Maybe it was a bit more difficult than the last region, but it wasn't 2 levels above the last region hard. Playing on the region locked maps, difficulty of mobs in this region are level 10 and 11, 2 levels above where the last region left off. I didn't know it was going to be so high and barely got through the first fight. The difficulty has been consistent between the previous regions, so it's weird that the difficulty just jumped all of a sudden. I don't know if it was your intention to force players to grind or not, but I feel the difficulty in the last region should be scaled down a little.

I never had to grind levels until I hit Drombach. I was already level 10, though, so it wasn't that bad. Now I see why they implemented Training Dummy. Without it, I would never have reached 12.

Most players would probably face leveling issues simply cos they wanna finish the Region Storyline, then move onto the next. It's best for you to slow down and not tie your overall progression to the Storyline. Use them rather as essential milestones that needs to be out of the way and then steadily strengthen your team first. I was slow n steady enough with my 1st group to the point that, by the time I go to Ludern, which was my 4th Region, all of my mercs were Level 12, and I just had an easier time training new recruits after careful selection.

My advice to you is, regardless of whether you're playing on Region Locked or Adaptive, you should get every member in your team to Level 12 before tackling Drombach.

I didn't find the levels hard, but Inquisitors are the second hardest faction to face in the game behind the Guard, moreso if you are Wanted.

Been a while since I've fought the guards cos I rarely commit Crimes in general. How is it that the Guards are harder than the Inquisition? Any particular reason?

Everyone has their own priorities. But when I played in the summer, with a level 10 squad, the most formidable opponents were the “Patrols of the Inquisition.” A guard detachment with reinforcements - for my 10 fighters - 20+20+20. I won pretty easily. But if the Inquisition Patrol, then for my 10 fighters - 16+16+16. And it was not always possible to win. If the Patrol is in the fog and there are no Chains of Valor, then loss is guaranteed. After the autumn update, I haven’t tested it yet because I was busy with the New Arena.

And in the summer I played, of course, at the Expert level. And at the Reach level, all factions are complex

Guards get Attack of Opportunities at the end of there turn they are engaged and hit you with Coinfusion, which can be really annoying at high levels as you can't receive any buffs until it wears off.

Inquisitors can be just as hard, but if you contain the Worshippers and Fanatics(which in my experience, these 2 units are their best damage output) it makes the battle easier.

Aah right. Those guys. Basically, beating Guards require you to prioritize the use of ranged units for safe kills.

You can go in there with a naturally tanky unit as well. The Alazarian Macebeaerer shields also punish Guard tactics as well, as their counterattacks occur without needing riposte buff.
