No ghost armor until level 5 is dumb.

I just found out I can't equip ghost armor until level 5 but I can risk fighting ghost animals before then. There's no use in allowing the player to farm ghosts in the early game. Why not just lock out ghost events until the player reaches level 5?

You can fight them before lvl5 just fine, at least on Adaptive difficulty. Until then they're just death zones that occasionally appear at night.

If you could equip ghost armor before level 5, the game will be a complete joke. Ghost armor is basically necessary once you reach ludern and beyond (anything that its below ghost armor wont be enough), before that you have more than enough with iron armor + layers.

And of course you can fight ghost packs before level 5, so you can stack white leather for later. And ocassionaly colossal pawns that you will need to craft colossal layers.

"There's no use"... of course there is. As i said, so you can farm earlier in the game. If you cant understand it... lol.

You should be fine with the armour you can loot off of your defeated foes. Especially when you compare it to rags. Some of it is even better as ghost armour and may be used by you until you're able to replace it with the next tier craftable armour.

And as mentioned by the others, fighting them early game will give you the ability to farm the white leather, plus the meat you can use for two food items; as well as the fangs needed to buy from the hunters.
So the ghost pack has its use. Even before lvl 5.

Why lock something out that's completely optional to begin with?
Just because a dragon lives in the mountains doesn't mean your level 1 party has to go fight it.

ghost armor for a tier 2 upgrade is silly. it sounds like a unique set, tier 2 should have been like generic steel.
