Is the DLC something only the host needs to have in co-op?
Now when I check, todays patch actually has an update.
Everyone needs the DLC in Co-Op.
Including the DLC without me actually owning it is really bad practice.
It's really not. It keeps there from being two or more different versions of the game out there each with its own issues. This way you can release one set of patches and it covers everyone.
No it's bad.
Why should I waste valuable harddrive space for a DLC that I don't want?
There are multiple ways of keeping the data for the DLC off my HDD without there being separate versions of the game.
