multiple short freezes since last update?

Game stutters and freezes quite frequently in combat now, specifically the enemy turn. I get the non responsive window and click wait for it respond and it comes back. This happens several times during an encounter.

Anyone else experience this or know a fix?

in battle yes, 2 days ago it happened to every enemy and my GPU fans kicked up a notch

Yeah, I've been noticing it too, freezes with a 'lag' kind of feeling for me, for maybe two seconds then camera switches and the enemy starts its move. Your situation definitely sounds worse though - as you say, it only started after latest patch.

My intention was to point out, that there indeed seems to be a problem and not just one person encountering this.
I don`t see a solution in your answer as well.
