Couple questions about unlockable bard songs

Hey all,

For unlockable bard songs, 2 questions:

1. Are these songs "account" -wide or specific to each save file? IE, if I unlock a song in one save, is it opened up in other runs, or if you want them in multiple runs, do you need to unlock them each time?

2. Does it matter if you have a lute already when you meet the requirements for unlocking a song? Most of these seem way easier to grab in the early game, and as I'm thinking about restarting anyway, I might just try to knock them out as early as possible.

1. This applies to those saves that occur after obtaining a skill.
2. If you do not have a lute, then the quest is not protected. Completing the quest is not protected even if you misspelled the pig's name.
3. The easiest way to complete the quests is as a solo fighter, leaving the rest of the squad at the Trading Post.
