a wounded prisoner will have -20% escape chance by default
animal have an square aura around them
human have an extra square of coverage on left, right, top, bottom,
u have to overlap these -escape chance coverage in order to prevent them from escaping while still working in ur camp like drying fish/play lute

the 2 square above and 1 square below, 1square behind bear are all -80%escape chance

and ofcourse u make all kinds of change depending which job u want prisoner to work on
i think scholar / lute / angler are pretty good non-combatant jobs
an easy setup would be putting 4 animals around a wounded scholar
and u can put all ur human companion around prisoner thats working on things like lute / drying rack
2. give a job to a prisoner
3. Always guard the prisoner so that he does not escape (2-3 cells near him)
4. change his/her hairstyle using a sharp razor or give toothpaste
5. wait for the result
u can click the chain in camp to see if anything bad is happening to the prisoner that makes him not wanting to join.(usually underfeeding food is the main cause)
if u dont wanna hire him/her
like me dont wanna hire that "+20exp hard working prisoner",
i left him wounded and surround him with 4 ponies. and make him work like a scholar
he doesnt like been treated like cattle, but couldnt run away with that -100% escape chance
