Reset attributes
Please add the opportunity to reset attributes (strength, agility, etc.) and not just specialized skills.
It is very important. I'm already tired of these constant mathematical calculations without even starting the game. I want to upgrade what I need at a given moment in the game and be able to rebuild my build at the end, considering new weapons and equipment.

i agree, even if its costly, it would be great to have the option at least.

I find attribut allocation quite easy:
1. Willpower to 15-16 (obviously)
2. Movement to 14-18 (depending on Job / Archers maybe 10-12)
3. Rest put in Critical Hit Chance

Allocation to Str/Dex/Con is a waste of points, because at higher item levels the points from equipment far outweigh what you can allocate per level up
Crit chance is in comparions the best option

EDIT: as soon as you can, get "Career Plans" in Knowledge path (if you don't know it yet)

Yes, everything is written correctly. But sometimes (rarely) high crit can be punished by a faction perk (Guard - Defender). Developers can easily add some new perk to a weapon, a crit debuff. Therefore, no advice can be 100% correct.:steammocking:

Correct. Allocating all points to Crit can get you over 100%. But that's (late middle?) endgame and you have armor layers to balance this out a bit. Unless you are min-maxing those points are negligable - at least for me :)

Surely there's a mod for resetting attributes / respecing.

You're wrong about the crit hit. I recalculated several times at high levels and often it turned out lower than just pumping everything into strength/dexterity. Moreover, there are many skills that provide automatic crit or a chance to crit from the back. This is far from the optimal option. Much depends on the weapons you find during the game. And it’s very difficult to calculate this at the start of the game.

Keep in mind, that Crit not only raises Crit Chance, but Crit Damage, too. THerefore, even if you are at Crit cap, the damage portion still gets higher. And this is relevant regardless of damage attribute. Those can only raise either one, not both. And I think at high level, 2% Crit damage is more than +2 str/dex
Galahad Dec 22, 2023 @ 4:20am
To roogun. Strength also increases critical damage, but not by much. And % Critical damage is calculated depending on strength. The power limits in the game are not so high that the % of crit damage prevails over the number. There are +/- same values. But the topic is not about that, but about the fact that there is no way to reset points.

sure, it would be nice to have such an option. Maybe the devs will implement it sometime. Let's hope :)
