Wooden plank...
How do i get those? I can occasionally find them, but I need to make them to fix my ship and what's the deal with them?

Buy the recipe for "Waterproof Sealant" at the shipyard (not the dock) on Per Bast island.

Then create that with an alchemist (takes resin, empty vial, seaweed, and fish oil to create).

Then use a tinker I believe to create wooden planks with that, and some wood. (I think you also get this recipe from the same shipyard.)
