Can't load saved game

Trying to open the game and it stays completely stuck on the loading screen after clicking continue. If I minimize and screen and put it back up, it's all black. The music still runs and the cursor is still going around the screen, but nothing happens after several minutes. Anyone found a workaround? I've closed and opened the game again several times.

I just opened the game to check and the latest update seems to have fixed it! My save file loaded without any problem.

Thanks for having responded though, it's super appreciated! Great game, I'm super happy to be able to get back to it.
