Game Pass PC saves gone.

I started playing last night, played about 3 hours.. today, there are 0 saves in the load game menu.. :)

had the same issue, found online that you can avoid getting the saves deleted by altf4 to close the game, if you want to play without waiting for a fix I suggest you do that.

had this happen to me. Followed some instructions on a reddit post and fixed it. Ill copy and paste it here for you.

OP, I moved my save games from this folder
C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\7286ShiroGamesSAS.Wartales_esjzrp5ntrs52\SystemAppData\xgs\save

to

AppData\Roaming\Wartales\save
(delete any other files from this folder)

Worked for me.

Same issue, hope the devs fix it... Found the work around, but feels a bit silly for a game with such a glowing review base.

Same thing happened to me. Apparently it is an issue with gamepass rather than being specific to this game. Save issues have been reported in other games on gamepass too. So pissed off I just cancelled my gamepass subscription and will now buy Wartales on steam. I barely used gamepass anyway despite being subscribed for quite a while.

Thanks, dude. This worked for me too.

Just a point of note for other people, there may be a directory between \xgs and \save with a long string of characters. My save folder was in there. I just copied and pasted in the Roaming folder.
