Legendary armor

Hello guys I wonder if there is a way to adjust socket for armor? I got 2 legendary armors from champions arena and they are just armor w/o socket or effects. Is this legit?

In later path levels you can UPGRADE armor , helmets and weapons...

I dont think there is a way to add sockets to armor though. And you can only upgrade legendary equipment right now i believe unless using mods.

You go to the Anvil in a blacksmith and take the item off the person into you inventory and click the anvil, click ALTERATIONS at the bottom instead of making an item. A new screen shows the alterable items select it and you get your 4 hits to upgrade it.. if you get 4 perfect you can add ARMOR Points and Layers circles...

Yea not for the legendary items though.

I have never gotten Legendary Armor...

So is the "legendary" armor just worthless, then?

All it has is guard and armor; no stats, special effects, or armor layers; the helmets don't even have effects. If it can't be improved from that then it's the worst armor in the game.

It can be improved (meaning adding stars). This gives you armor and guard (only armor for light) and three slots, unfortunately no spec. property on armor. Armor has the best in the game (for heavy it is quite a lot), guard has better other sets.
I personally don't use either.

I've completed the first 3 trials (easy / hard) a total of 6 completions on the very last arena. Besides a good shield, and a few belt accessories, the legendary armor is complete TRASH. It has better armor stats, but you can get better gear by doing your missions, especially the armor which has one or two stars. The mission / roaming units gear I get is often (Yellow) one or two stars, and has 1-3 sockets. It is MUCH better then the legendary garbage.

All armor can be upgraded to 3 stars and 3 slots.
