Drombach Scenario Final Fight
How many rounds should this fight be? The scholars don't seem to study each round and instead just use repositioning and it's been a few dozen rounds.

That sounds odd. Are you sure each scholar is right up next to the spot they need to be to do research? It is at the base of the central unit. They always go last in each round and should start research immediately as long as they are not interrupted by an enemy. This is perhaps the best, most complex and challenging fight in the entire game but I've never had one last more than three rounds. And always happy to have it end without losing a merc, which doesn't happen every time.

Guess it's a bug due to repositioning being allowed. Will restart the fight and turn repositioning off. Anywhere we can report bugs for this game?

Most stupid and easy fight in the entire game, i did that after having an horror beating the misshappen creeper that is the hardest fight in the game so this fight seemed so frikkin easy....

And you only need two turns, in the second turn the scholars start studying the pillars and by the start of the third turn you are done.

Easy indeed, as long as the NPCs do something instead of all spam repositioning. Single character can wipe out the waves.

It depends on the difficulty as well. On Expert it's like 5 or 6 waves and each time a huge group of inquisitors shows up. Doesn't help that friendly AI is suicidal and immediately runs into the instakill zones if any fanatic is anywhere near those.

Emr, wtf you talking about. I did it on expert and it only took three turns. lol. Of course if you dont kill even the first wave, things get messy fast, but thats pretty obvious. As long as you kill most enemies before the next wave its as i said, the most easy fight in the entire game.

When you have repositioning enabled at strategy table - the NPCs pretty much only use repositioning every single turn. It's a bug

That was opposite to me. I have a maceman specialized to lock down strong enemy. The creeper just die. It was quite disappointed. Then I enjoyed the finally in Drombach more. Alazarian fools were everywhere. The goal was simple, destroy the machine, but breaking though their line to reach it feels very good. Maybe only one let down was The Eye's Reckoning striking highly armored units was like tickle at this point. It was endgame after all.

The creeper just dont die like you say. Stop being a liar. The creeper is a pure pain, and if you say that you just killed him, you dont have a clue what you talking about and you are just fooling around. Moving on. The creeper, even doing things in the right way is hard as it gets. And the last fight is a complete joke compared with the misshapen creeper. Maybe you are just lying like a madman or you are just playing a complete different game???. Whatever.

How were you able to lock the Creeper down with one guy when the thing has multiple attacks that push everything away per turn? That was the first strategy I tossed out the window when I got to it because the thing couldn't care less about being engaged and always went for the nearest cluster of units that didn't yet have a chance to move.

Currently in this quest and same thing happening for me. Scholars keep repositioning for their turn. I can't last past 2 rounds.
