Save games no longer loading after update

As it says in the title. Since updating the game this morning, I am unable to load the saves for my game. It stays on the loading screen and just remains there.

Save isn't loading?

I saved a game about two hours ago, tried to load back in and it's getting stuck on the loading screen. I was mid-fight with wolves that had attacked my camp. An autosave from an hour earlier is also not loading.

If you had mods before this, then you're out of luck, yesterday's patch would have broken any mods that havent been updated to the newest version.

Otherwise, test if all your saves are corrupted. Try loading another few saves (>5) & possibly from a different point. In my 500+ hours of play, only 1 incident consistently caused save problem.

In your case, the bug could have came from the recent patch. If all saves cant load, check if the integrity of the game through steam. If that doesnt work, reinstall the game.

I had a similar problem on a patch months ago (some could play, a few couldn't), i had to wait like a week and they made a quick patch that resolved the problem. I hope for you it'll be the same treatment.

Even with today's patch, still will not load even after deleting and reinstalling the game...

Can't load save

So i was playing yesterday and everything was pretty fine.
Now when I try to load Auto-save or my dedicated save it doesn't work.
Loading screen is here with me for more like 5mins.
App is not 'frozen', i've checked it on task manager.
Any ideass? Was there any small update since yesterday?

If you have any / most "mods" that haven't been fully updated; they will make this happen

I was playing fully vanilla game.
+ I already tried starting game w/ OpenGL and without. Loading all save files, using "Continue" button.
Unistalling and installing once again.

166 hours gameplay, black screen on loading my save, very disappointing....
I have no mods.

As of writing this post, I JUST lost my main save. I had it since Early Access. So that's basically over 600 hours of gameplay gone. I've completed all the Regions save Drombach cos I wanted to take my time getting my mercs ready for that region, then go in. Granted, I did plan on making a new save from scratch but this is really upsetting.

EDIT: Nvm, I still have the file. Still stuck on load screen tho... Very troubling.
