Looking for all the valid ways to get the bonuses. Thanks
2- seems it skips a level, maybe it can only occur a limited number of times per character.
7- extra point Occurs on ponies and you Can't stop it; then it goes back to a mercenary getting it after a new and most certainly unfortunate death.
8- I believe this may be for ranged characters only? And also Respec my spearmen into Harpooners did NOT Proc it for them, only my first Harpooner and archers got the extra Apt points.
Note- Apt. points still proc at level 12
Note- as the reddit post states: you have to clear the confession que at times with adding a merc and dismissing him/her. And you have to make sure the New teammate Procs a random confession before you can go back to securing your own bonus points.
Solstius states the below info- Yet I feel this is misinformation/misinterpreted/patched. As I don't attain aptitude points from a "glorious battle". I think the reddit post was saying this was to be avoided or after such, you then needed to clear the Que. Or maybe i'm wrong, or have already PROCed these points way earlier. Maybe he's willing to elaborate.
""Well, based on multiple source checks, I can say with certainty that, as long as one of your characters kill 1/3 or more of the enemy forces your team encounters, you should be able to get Aptitude Points quite frequently. In my early days with my first Save File, Hackert the Ranger you get for free in Tiltren was used to kill enemies constantly for the sake of convenience. He accumulated 6+ AP outside of Leveling by the time I was finished with the Tiltren County's storyline. So, yeah. Kill, kill and kill my guy. ""
Again- inaccurate perhaps.
5 & 6 essentially the same, related to Character story
I think is more recent as I only got it after September patch before CU2.
IMHO, There's no need to cheese AP unless you screwed up badly. Ive on average +2 AP for all my characters aside from normal level up. Gear, skill tree & tactics play a bigger role & Im already smashing all fights on Extreme. My worst fight cost me <50 raw materials (@53 points/RM) to repair & 1 injury
You will get the extra AP from Fast Training like this.
I did this just after the Helmet update, not sure if its changed now
