Where are the Ghost Bears?

I understand you have to go to round 2 of ghost fights, but do Ghost Bears only appear in certain regions? My team is mainly level 7 and are currently fighting in Vertruse region. Can I find them there?

I don't think I've seen any in Vertruse. In Ludern there's always 2 ghost bears, one in the starting pack, and one appearing with Nightmare. Grinmeer and Drombach should have them too. At least that's how it is if you're playing in region-locked. In the adaptive mode they might be tied to level, so that would be level 8-9, idk, not really sure how it works there.

I have had multiple ghost packs in Vertruse which had a few bears in wave 1. My party is rather large, which might be that I had multiple of them, but they are there for sure. Not sure whether the level has anything to do with it, my team is all on level 12.

Level 12 will bring you 1 or 2 bears for every ghost swarm

Well... you don't have to go to round 2 for ghost fights if you've got the movement and you're not afraid of entering the 'white mist' ;)...

the pack hunts ever have them it looks like, got 4 in the one in the swamp, nasty fight.

The ghost bears are random, the earliest I have found them has been at lvl 3 team of 4 units.
Like others have stated they appear on the second round.
Sometimes I see the Nightmare, other times the Ghost bear. On rare occasions they both appear on round 2. All regions mind you.
