Question on Skill Manual books! (form the Brootherhood at Tiltren)

Say I buy the "Manual: First aid" and use it on one of my mercs for them to learn said skill, if further down the line I want to respec their skills, will the skills learned through Manual books be lost? Will the book be "refunded" to my inventory? Got No idea if it gets "spent" when used or not since I haven't even bought one yet lol.

Anyways, any clarification on this, and just Manual books and how they work in general would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

When you respec all the skills from books (or skill that they have already when you recruit them) don't reset. And the skills that you upgraded keep the upgrade too.

So only skills obtained through leveling are respeced, initial skills (the ones the Mercs started with) and the Book Manual skills remain unchanged, noted! Thanks!
