Gmae keeps studdering( any work arounds?)

So as title says the game keeps studdering pretty badly. now i just upgraded to a 4070 from a 1080 and wasn't having as many troubles. but thought id revisit this game. but i keep getting little micro teleporting around. i went to geforce to see if there was a way to optimize game or something but it doesn't even show up in list of games. Now since i didnt get this as bad with the 1080 i dont know if its something with one of the newest patches or if its cause the 4070 is new and i somehow dont have it optimized. Cpu is i7 and stuff so i dont think its hardware in anyway.

I've only had a few problems and it seems when I have too many saves, it starts to slow down. Until the problem is fixed, I keep only around 8-10 saves, or less if I can.

Check your system ram usage. The problem seems to be with the coding, not the hardware. You will notice that the GPU/CPU usage is usually below 50% as well. There doesn't seem to be a fix at the moment. I saw a youtube video where a guy was playing Wartales on a 4090/I9 and he was pissed that it stuttered so badly. Good luck. I have the similar stuttering and it's become unplayable.

Hardware doesn't seem to matter at all. It's just poor coding. I have noticed that the stutters gets worse the further into the game I get. I get 2-second long stutters during combat now, and frequently too.
I might just put the game down for the time being until this gets fixed, but since this issue has existed since the very start of early access, I don't know if it ever will be... A shame, since the core of the game is amazing.

It just happens, I have lost count how often I get screwed over on the clicking minigame of mining, woodcutting, smithing. More annoying is trying to ambush bandits in the forest when it stutters and you get attacked instead once the stutter clears.

damn that sucks but thanks for all the replies. hope they fix it. i figured it was coding on somelevel but maybe ill try capping fps at like 30 or 60 idk if i had it capped ingame or not

I dont really have any stuttering, but my fps is capped at 60. Due to monitor. I maybe see 2-3 minor stutters per hour always during minigames and it is less than it use to be after I upgraded my computer. My old hardware would stutter 1-2 times per minigame.

I want to buy the game, but the micro-stutters are too annoying. It seemed to be a bit better since the last patch, but I've seen videos of people still having those micro stutters, even when having pc's way above the recommended requirements.
