WTB Cloth!
I find this is my biggest issue - cloth for upgraded tent, for forging top end weapons, for trying to get like 30 torches so I can explore ruins... and I just can't find any. I loot 3 or so every once in a while from human opponents, but just not nearly enough.

I've got wood, ore, leather, pretty much everything else I need in supply (I could use more ore, but at least I have some...)

Am I missing something, or just unlucky, or is cloth really hard to find? (For pacing, I'm in the second zone...)

Random traveling merchants are usually your best bet for finding cloth.

With you 100% on that. It's also infuriating that dismantling things that were made from cloth gives leather back but no cloth.

It's the only resource where I'll buy out every merchant of because I know I need it later.

I have yet to explore this as I just started over and only recently learned it is possible to upgrade the worktable to deconstruct things. I did see on some merchants something called woolen cloth (I think that is the name anyway) I bought it thinking I could use it in recipes. It doesn't work so I what I wonder is if you deconstruct it is it a way to produce the actual cloth used in crafting?
No, woolen cloth is a trade good. It exists so that you go to another region and sell it for a profit.

Ok that makes sense as mousing over a cities title shows it producing different things. Still would be cool if you could buy something like hemp or even use actual hemp to make cloth if you upgrade your workbench.

There are two location with garantee seller of cloths: one in Shabby camp - Arthes and other in Market at Marhein - Vertruse

....and now I need iron ore, too... :)
Yeah, early game you're always just like 'I NEED ALL THE THINGS!' xD

Iron ore, found randomly on the world map. OR go to anything that looks like a cave, usually there's some iron ore veins you can use your miner to hoover up some more.

Yes. Crafting cloth from hemp would be both logical and very useful.

cloth is by no means rare:
granted at the loommaster, like already explained.
high chance to get it at a market,
high chance to get it when recycle stuff, especialy head items.
very good chance to get some at human enemys.

...well, keep in mind when I started this thread, we didn't have head items yet. :tgrin:

And it WAS rare, so maybe it was tweaked a bit...

Cloth is difficult to acquire? I always found Salt the most difficult to acquire. Now that I think about it, anyone else kinda wish we had a bit more mines for other resources that aren't metal?
