It did leave early access but it might be premature since they didn't have a massive playtest of a community.
There is like 20k people playing it now too.
By resource file you mean pak or archives?
That's the same manner of modding like Kingdom Come Deliverance, where SQL table files controls the configuration for everything in the game.
For modding to work we need a modloader application that injects the files in place of the default ones by a load order, before the game starts, but not modify the actual files...
Modloaders work at a RAM level where it basically swapa out the files the executable wants with a alternate one.
Otherwise the game framework or engine itself needs a overhaul to support modding... And I dunno of the Haxe Framework is built with that in mind.
Like Region locked (never played it)
Coop (never bothered with it)
And tons of community wishes.
So it isn't that they released premature, infact the game even in the early stages had roughly 30 hours of gameplay. (that is if you knew it all)
If you were new you probaly had 100 hours of learning to do.
Nowadays the content is set for roughly 60-80 hours if you just play it for the story.
And if you are new you can grind for a very long time.
The thing is that bugs has happened in every community update, and they are slow to fix them. Same as Boars/Bears level 12 Skill doesn't even work yet.
But postive NEW, All tavern Recruit Bravery seems to be working. (haven't tried out the new Passives from new subclasses)
So that is a huge step forward :D
